Paddy Power Announce the betting and running format for Gavin Glynn Strictly come dancing.

Odds 1-5
Barely worth putting money on these guys Paddy Power are so sure they will win. Taragh has a strong will to win been part of the Ladies team in Greystones they haven't really experienced losing too much. Kelly and Vicky have requested they not practice in front of the other competitors as it's making them nervous. It's possibly unfair advantage having Damian McKeever in this competition coming from a strong dancing background he was always going to be hard to beat.

Kelly and Vicky's Comments- We wanted to start the show with a bang and like a relay race you put your best guys out first. They'll take some beating on the night.

Odds 3/5

Roberta is a Zumba Queen so will look to get some of those moves into their routine. She's always there and never misses a session, she's right up the front end of the main dance which is a sign of the regard she is held in by both Kelly and Vicky.

Comments from Kelly and Vicky- Roberta has a very natural way about her on the dance floor and is going really well in training. I haven't met Aidan yet.

Odds 8/1

Worth a gamble on these two. Their odds are possibly that bit longer because it's such a tricky dance routine but they've kept their practices very quiet with a press blanket on it so no one is really sure how well they are going and the instructors aren't saying much about it.

Vicky and Kelly's comment- We've been really impressed with Davey and Emily how quickly they've taken to their routine but the fact that neither of them were even born when Top Gun was out is a bit of a worry.

Odds 50/1

Would have been many peoples favourites when the teams were announced, Jen coming from a Cheerleading background and Kurt been a Kiwi they all learn how to do the Haka at a young age. However they have struggled with what seems to me to be a very simple routine. Kurt like many of his fellow countrymen struggles with his confidence and can be a bit of a wallflower. Kurt is going to have to come out of his shell a bit.

Kelly and Vicky's comments- We expected these guys to do really well but when one of the celebrity judges was announced to be Gérard Depardieu it seemed to really bother Kurt and he's lost all confidence.

Odds 5/1
These guys have one of the most difficult dances with that famous lift. Brian coming from Blackrock college would have a habit of bottling it on the big stage so we're just hoping he doesn't drop poor Katy. However the last time I was in Go Gym I had to take weights off the machine after Katy had been doing her Bench press so I guess they may reverse roles and have Katy picking up the Rock boy!
Kelly and Vicky's comments-  Brian is the most dedicated guy always wanting to do "one more time", two very talented dancers.

Odds 7/1

I know Darren will be delighted with those odds. A big horse man, his team have him in perfect condition for this run out. We have two very much locals here there'll be a massive cheer when they take the stage. Marie has taught Darren lots of moves if he can remember them they should be in with a shout on the night.
Kelly and Vickys comments- Darren and Marie have struggled recalling their actual practice dates but when they've turned up at the correct time on the correct date they've been delightful to deal with.

Odds 100/1
Again this is another good option for the guy who likes long shots. Lianne has the moves but has been hampered by her partner. Kevin to be fair is trying his best, he's been out pounding big bum boulvard in an effort to shift that last 5 stone. He even turned up for a Zumba class and nailed it.

Kelly and Vickys comments- We're really worried about the stage holding out so once Kevin gets up there and all is ok we'll be able to relax.

Odds 5/1
These guys have spent a lot of time practicing in private, well they haven't turned up for the group sessions so I assume they've been doing it all privately. Claire was very good when she first turned up but was partnered with Damian a few times and has suffered badly with a broken ankle

Kelly and Vickys comments- If claire can overcome her injuries from Damian these guys should be in the mix.

Odds 15/1

Simon has taken this whole thing very seriously, he assumed that because the song was called New York New York that he'd spend three weeks in New York researching the song. As a result Caroline has been left at home learning the moves. Hopefully they'll be able to patch it together in the last week.

Kelly and Vickys comments- Simon is a very good and natural dancer, at least that's what we were told by the Fine Gael press release we haven't actual seen him yet.

Odds 5/1
These guys are good. They've hit all their sessions and know each other very well. Michael works in the Beach House and there's expected to be a good following of the local bar flys down supporting him.
Kelly and Vickys comments- Michael has some serious moves that he's keeping under wraps for the big day. Michelle is a natural dancer.

Odds 50/1
Jess is a vital member of the Greystones ladies Rugby team. She took a battering for the team in the final Yesterday and has multiple injuries. Training looks like it might take a hit this week due to injuries but like Jonny Sexton she may not train all week but will be good to go on the day/night. The Greystones open Forum has been very quiet with Declan concentrating his efforts on dancing.

Vicky and Kellys Comments- I've never got to speak to Declan because Jess has always been there but I understand he's very funny.

Odds 1000/1

There'll be huge local support for these two hero's. They've both already raised a huge amount for this cause. Rachael is a very good dancer and has taken to the moves very well. Glenn is very brave for turning up to do something like this, with his limited ability.
Vicky and Kellys Comments- It takes guts to come in and do what Glenn is doing with his dancing ability and you have to respect that.
